I thought there were two pleasant surprises: Les Simmons and David Terrell.
Les played mostly around the perimeter and knocked down two threes. He also blocked one of Faried's post shots and stole the ball.
Terrell is a high-flyer with a well-built frame. He nailed a nice turn-around 12-footer and had what was probably the highlight of the game with an alley-hoop slam dunk.
Other observations . . . .
Maze was his usual self. He missed his first couple three attempts, but once he got into a rhythm he was lights out.
Demonte looked solid. He actually hurt his shoulder and had to go to the locker room to get it iced down, but all indications are that he will be okay.
Shingles did not play (knee injury). Lamb did not play, but was dressed out.
