Last year, about all the players were in Morehead. Also, does anyone know what may have happened the the big man recruit that we talked about a couple weeks ago, I know it sometimes takes awhile for foreign players to be cleared by the clearinghouse. I have not talked to anyone lately, so I need updates. GO EAGLES

Most everyone else is in summer school and helping out with basketball camp. I think I might have even spotted Leon Buchanan the other day. Goeagles, are you referring to the recruit from the Cayman Islands? If so, the last I heard is that he is ready to sign but hadn't got through clearinghouse.

Posts: 25 (06/14/09 06:05:40) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tyndalltown: I was referring to the player from the islands, I was told that we had a shot at 3 players from the islands, a question was asked about the players as to the fact that players from the islands were soft and usually not very good players. I was told that these 3 players were pretty good players and they would certainly help. Don't know anymore details about them other than they are suppose to be around the 6' 8" range. Also appears that A J Stewart is no longer interested in MSU, I read in the Lexington paper that Stewart is now going to Central Florida. GO EAGLES Last Edited By: goeagles 06/14/09 06:08:04. Four of their players have signed D-I so far...two to Forham, and one each to Marist and Houston Baptist. They also have some game video's on youtube. Its my understanding that international players do take longer to get cleared by the NCAA, so that could be the hold up...or we might not be taking a guy from there anymore. We'll find out eventually.
