Posts: 46 (06/10/09 09:10:19) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None I don't have a link, but it looks like Associate Head Coach Barry Wortman is leaving MSU for Oak Ridge High School in Tennessee. He will be missed. I always thought that, should Tyndall leave anytime soon, Barry might get a look for the position. He put in many hours for our program and did a lot of good things behind the scenes. He'll be tough to replace, but I have confidence Tyndall will find an ample replacement.

He will be truely missed. One good thing from this though would be that Oak Ridge which is outside of Knoxville is a good high school program, so maybe we could get a pipeline going there from here on out. Best of luck Coach Wortman you will truely be missed.

Coach Wortman was a great motivater and a great person. He was always very approachable when I talked to him on campus. Tyndall's assistants have not stayed long, but that can be a good/bad thing. It means his guys are getting better jobs and are using MSU as a springboard to ascend in the coaching ranks, but it also means that the staff has not been consistent year to year just like our roster
